This is a great moscato for anyone who has never tried this type of wine before. A little fizzy, fruity and delightful. The low alcohol content (5.5%) means you can drink a whole bottle and not be befuddled (even if you are drinking it all by yourself, well, at least I can).  It's not dry at all like many champagnes or a prosecco, but still fizzy and fun. There are definitely other moscatos out there that are more complex but this one seems to be all over here in Seattle and is really quite enjoyable.

I enjoy this wine fairly often, it goes well with warm summer nights. And if those ever happen again in Seattle, I will enjoy drinking this wine.

Should Red Wine be served slightly chilled?

I am curious if red wines should be slightly chilled before serving in order to bring out the full flavor.

Although it has 8 gold medals since 2000, I have found this zin to get more and more unpalatable the more I have drank it. It used to be a good bottle to get on the cheap, but I say it has lost it's zing. I guess that's what you get for this price.

How do the Wine Scores equate to each other?

Different people like to rate wines in different ways, and we aim to please. So we give you 2 options.

You can rate wine on a scale of 0-5 Glasses, or for finer detail, you can rate wine on a 100 point scale.

We do the conversion for you so all Wine Ratings display both values. The table below shows you the conversion:

= 50 points or less.
= 51 - 57 points.
= 58 - 62 points.
= 63 - 67 points.
= 68 - 72 points.
= 73 - 77 points.
= 78 - 82 points.
= 83 - 87 points.
= 88 - 92 points.
= 93 - 96 points.
= 97 - 100 points
