Wine Spectator's - Top 100 Results

The results continue to roll in from all of the major wine publications featuring their top wine picks of the year. Just yesterday Wine Spectator released its annual roundup of the year’s most exciting wines – The Top 100 of 2007! Similar to last year there were four Washington wines that made the list. The highest result being 28th for Quilceda Creek’s 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, which was actually 2nd the year before. Here are the rest of the results:

#28 – Quilceda Creek 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley (95 pts - $100)
#69 – Owen Roe 2005 Ex Umbris Syrah, Columbia Valley (91 pts - $24)
#70 – DeLille 2004 D2, Columbia Valley (92 pts - $36)
#71 – Columbia Crest 2004 Grand Estates Merlot, Columbia Valley (90 pts - $11)

The full results will be available in Wine Spectator magazine later this December.

How do the Wine Scores equate to each other?

Different people like to rate wines in different ways, and we aim to please. So we give you 2 options.

You can rate wine on a scale of 0-5 Glasses, or for finer detail, you can rate wine on a 100 point scale.

We do the conversion for you so all Wine Ratings display both values. The table below shows you the conversion:

= 50 points or less.
= 51 - 57 points.
= 58 - 62 points.
= 63 - 67 points.
= 68 - 72 points.
= 73 - 77 points.
